What does it mean to you to be an Eagles member?
It means belonging to an organization that comes together as a group to help within our community and give to people in need. There is a lot of pride associated with belonging to this great organization; just knowing what we have accomplished during the past 108 years makes me a better person.
What has being an Eagles member done for you?
Being an Eagles member has helped me excel in my personal and business life. It has given me self confidence and a sense of belonging. It has stimulated my personal growth and helped me realize my ability to control my own destiny.
Why do you feel being a member of the Eagles is important?
I believe that people must make many commitments in life. The Eagles have allowed me to make a commitment within my community. Our motto "People Helping People" says it all.
Why should others join the Eagles?
This is a hard question to answer because people's reasons for joining the Eagles are as diverse as they are. But I would say the best reasons to join are a sense of belonging and personal growth. Members also benefit from the knowledge that their presence and hard work can and does make a difference.
What are the social benefits of being an Eagles member?
As an Eagles member, you can come out on a social night and know you are with friends who believe in what we are doing. They are people just like you who do not want individual recognition but enjoy a quiet companionship and the chance to raise money for charity.
