What does it mean to you to be an Eagles member?

It means a sense of belonging and teamwork, the realization that something wonderful is happening because this great organization exists. I believe we all have something to contribute — no matter what the capacity. Ultimate satisfaction and pride are derived from knowing what we have accomplished together as a team.

What has being a member done for you?

As a quiet person, being an Eagles member has brought me out of my shell. It has opened the door for personal growth far beyond what I could have ever imagined. Membership has given me self-confidence, a feeling of adequacy, pride and a spirit of commitment. Above all, it has instilled in me a sense of loyalty.

Why do you feel being a member of the Eagles is important?

Eagles have an opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to their community and to advance the causes that are important to them. Members experience fraternalism; they become involved in their community and exemplify our motto "People Helping People."

Why should others join the Eagles?

People's reasons for joining the Eagles are as diverse as they are. Members enjoy a sense of belonging, personal growth, and the knowledge that their presence and hard work do make a difference.

What are the social benefits of being an Eagles member?

The numerous activities we offer allow a group of individuals to act as one and share our fraternal beliefs. We are selfless people who donate time and money to benefit the less fortunate. We accomplish this without individual recognition but rather as quiet, compassionate and compelling people. The greatest benefit is that we gather friends for life.
